1、 Appearance of new spo three Port USB PD charger

This charger is white, with a common cuboid shape. The shell is made of PC material, and most of the area has been polished

The front of the charger is printed with the logo of xinspower: xinspower. There are three output interfaces on the left and American standard pins on the right. Xinsibao is a well-known charger foundry in the industry. The factory has a variety of product series, hundreds of different styles and multiple product production lines. It has close cooperative relations with major well-known brands all over the world.

The charger pin adopts a stowable design. Compared with the ordinary non stowable pin design, the occupied volume will be smaller and more convenient to carry.

In terms of output interface, the combination of two usb-a and one USB type-C is adopted. The top is two usb-a (SMART) interfaces and the bottom is USB type-C interface, which can basically adapt to all data lines on the market.

And the three ports can charge three devices at the same time.

The relevant parameters are at the bottom of the charger. The model of the charger is P301, and the input supports global voltage; The two usb-a ports support the maximum 5V / 2.4a output, and the USB type-C port supports 5V / 3a, 9V / 2a and 12V / 1.5A output. The total output power is 30W. In addition, the charger has passed UL certification, FCC certification and meets VI energy efficiency standard.

2、 Disassembly of new spo three Port USB PD charger

First pry off the charger housing

Pull out the internal PCB.

A large heat sink is covered on the transformer on the front of the PCB board.

On the back are power supply main control, rectifier bridge, MOS tube and other devices.

On the high voltage side, four electrolytic capacitors, thermistors, X capacitors, common mode inductors and fuses can be seen and fixed with glue.

The cable is used to connect the pin and PCB board, the cable solder joint is full and the contact is good.

A Y capacitor is seen on the side for anti-interference of two usb-a output interfaces.

On the other side of the PCB board, the usb-c port is welded on the small PCB board.

Remove the heat sink, you can see that this charger uses two transformers, two independent outputs, without interference with each other. A large copper heat sink ensures excellent heat dissipation performance.

The output terminal is equipped with 5 solid-state capacitors. Two 16V 470 μ F capacitor is responsible for usb-c port filtering, and the other three are responsible for usb-a output filtering. The specification is 6.3V 330 μ F。

The input terminal is equipped with five ACON meso electrolytic capacitors, four of which are large-volume 400V 15 μ F。 The specification of small volume is 50V 10 μ F。

After removing the input capacitor, you can see a primary main switch tube, which is responsible for the usb-a dual port output.

The PD protocol chip is from welrend Weiquan wt6632f and supports QC2 0 and QC3 0 agreement.

The wt6632f minimizes external components by integrating USB PD baseband physics, type C detection, shunt regulator, voltage and current monitor, blocking MOSFET control circuit, and an 8-bit MCU, allowing small form factors and low BOM cost.
